SATURDAY AFTERNOON PICNIC

Volunteer Park
1247 15th Ave E
One of Seattle's most beautiful parks and home to both the Asian Art Museum and a conservatory, Volunteer Park is a beloved Seattle landmark. We will be picnicking at the Amphitheater in order to take the best advantage of the park as a jazz-jam location!

SATURDAY NIGHT

Washington Hall
153 14th Avenue
Built in 1908 by the Danish Brotherhood, Washington Hall is the only jazz club from the height of the jazz era in Seattle that still operates as an active music venue. When you walk into Washington Hall, you're walking into a ballroom that once heard the sounds of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Fats Domino.

SATURDAY LATE-NIGHT

Velocity Dance Center
1621 12th Ave
Velocity Dance Center is home-away-from-home to a thriving community of dancers and artists and has been a wonderfully consistent venue for the Seattle swing scene.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Westlake Park
401 Pine Street
In the heart of downtown, Westlake is Seattle's unofficial "Town Square," home to buskers, food trucks, and concerts! We'll be bringing the music for this free public jazz and dance experience. ***The "dance floor" is on concrete and it is often very warm for these summer afternoon dances- bring water and shoes you'll feel comfortable dancing on concrete in!

SUNDAY NIGHT DANCE

Century Ballroom
915 E Pine Street
Housed in the historic Odd Fellows building (and also built in 1908!), the beautiful Century Ballroom has been a home for the Seattle lindy hop scene since 1997 and is currently celebrating it's 20 Year Anniversary! Right across the hallway is the jointly-owned Tin Table who happily welcomes dancers (look at their special menu for a special dance cocktail!).
